All the way from Japan, Yayoi’s passion for singing goes as far back as she can remember.
Traveling all the way across the ocean to pursue her dream to become a professionally trained Opera singer, which she achieved when she was awarded the prestigious Master in Voice performance from the exclusive Cleavland Institute of Music.
As a professional soprano soloist she made her debut the St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Other leading soloist roles include: John Rutter’s Requiem , Gabriel Faure’s Requiem, and Mozart’s Laudate Dominum.
Her passion extends far beyond her classical side. Yayoi’s repertoire encompasses dozens of songs, and styles, such as CCM, New Age, jazz, bossa-nova, R&B, and Japanese traditional and J pop.
In her non classical mood, she has also appeared at the world-famous Blue Wisp as well as numerous big-name cultural festivals throughout the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
