Yayoi Asian Festival

All the way from Japan, Yayoi’s passion for singing goes as far back as she can remember.

Traveling all the way across the ocean to pursue her dream to become a professionally trained Opera singer, which she achieved when she was awarded the prestigious Master in Voice performance from the exclusive Cleavland Institute of Music.

As a professional soprano soloist she made her debut the St. Mary’s Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption. Other leading soloist roles include: John Rutter’s Requiem , Gabriel Faure’s Requiem, and┬áMozart’s Laudate Dominum.

Her passion extends far beyond her classical side. Yayoi’s repertoire encompasses dozens of songs, and styles, such as CCM, New Age, jazz, bossa-nova, R&B, and Japanese traditional and J pop.

In her non classical mood, she has also appeared at the world-famous Blue Wisp as well as numerous big-name cultural festivals throughout the Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
